Founded in 1943
Pike County Co-op Aal was founded in 1943 by a group of farmers interested in volume purchases to reduce their cost. The cooperative has over 500 producer stockholder members. Each member has one share of common stock.
Patronage dividends are paid back to stockholder members each year based on their purchases and the Coop profit. The cooperative also serves non-members as anyone can buy products from the Coop.
